Suppliers of Antimicrobial Copper Materials, Products and Services

Materials, products and services offered by companies approved to use the Antimicrobial Copper mark and Antimicrobial Copper brand, can be found in the AntimicrobialCopper.org website directories.

See all Directories on the global Antimicrobial Copper website or go straight to one of the sub-directories shown below.

Antimicrobial copper alloys
Antimicrobial copper and copper alloys are readily available in a wide range of product forms (sheet, strip, tube, extrusions etc) and colours. If you need assistance with alloy selection for your particular application then either speak to the suppliers themselves or contact us via the online enquiry form.

For the US market, alloys must be on the list approved for registration by the Environmental Protection Agency to be legally marketed. These alloys fall under the Unified Numbering System (UNS) which is the accepted alloy designation system in North America for wrought and cast copper and copper alloy products.

To find equivalents to these UNS alloys, use the Copper Key software, entering 'EPA' or 'antimicrobial' in the 'full text search' field. In the results window, 'US EPA Registered Antimicrobial' should appear in the 'remark' field. It is then possible to select materials with equivalent compositions in different national designations and also find applicable standards. It should be noted that this list is not exclusive, it merely represents the alloys already registered by the EPA as antimicrobial.

Antimicrobial Copper brand and Cu+ Mark
The use of the Antimicrobial Copper brand and Cu+ mark by an organisation indicates that a copper centre, on behalf of the International Copper Association, has granted permission to do so based upon adherence to strict usage rules. These rules guide that organisation’s understanding of the underlying technology and the way they promote, advise and deploy it in line with existing research, regulatory and legislative requirements.

Apply to use the brand.
